HA (Horizontally Agitated) Solid State BioReactor System 

The Horizontally Agitated (HA) Solid State (SS) BioReactor System is designed primarily for aerobic or anaerobic solid state fermentation where the bulk of solid is required to evenly mix and control. The bioreactor's design achieves solid and liquid mixing by regular internal agitation using an impeller. The HA-SS bioreactors are similar to our standard mechanically agitated (MA) system but the vessel lies along the horizontal axis with a different baffle and impeller design. Each vessel is optimally designed with stirrer, welded baffles, and equipped with independent control for temperature, humidity, agitation, air volume (manual), gases (optional), illumination intensity (optional -- only available with glass vessel/not available with steel vessel), etc. depending on each application's specifications.
