Lewis Ho, Ph.D.

Dr. Ho co-founded BioReactor Sciences in 2014. Since then he has served as President of the company. Previously, Dr. Ho spent 28+ years at Pfizer Inc. in various R&D and production capacities in developing numerous bio-products ranging from antibiotics, vitamins, enzymes, and organic acids to biologics. At Pfizer, he was also responsible in designing one of the world's largest air-lift fermenters at Southport, NC for the production of citric acid. From 2000 to 2013, Dr. Ho served in several operations executive roles with various biotechnology companies including Vice Chairman of Syngen Biotech, Ltd., a generic antibiotics and nutraceutical producer; Chief of Process Development at E-P Therapeutics, a research firm for anticancer biologic, and Chief Technical Adviser for CESCO BioEngineering as key inventor of their flagship TideCell bioreactor. He has also collaborated in several research programs with the Duke Medical School and National Cheng-Kung University. He was recently collaborating on a stem cell research program with a group at The University of Michigan Medical School and on the development of a membrane production process for personalized cancer therapy at Metaclipse Therapeutics and also on the development of a new antibody production platform with Caprico Biotechnologies using our bioreactor systems. Dr. Ho received his Ph.D. in BioChemical Engineering from the Univ. of Pennsylvania. He has published numerous bioengineering papers in peer-reviewed international journals and holds several related patents.

Timothy Ho, B.Eng.

Tim Ho co-founded BioReactor Sciences in 2014, serving as the Director of Operations. Tim received his BEng degree from Vanderbilt University in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering; and Master Brewer's Certification from U.C. Davis. He worked at SBC Telecommunications as a Facilities Engineer before transitioning into professional brewing/manufacturing. His manufacturing experience includes working at Miller Brewing Company as a fermentation engineer and supervisor. He is co-inventor of a number of patents with Dr. Ho in the field of bioprocessing.
